Brexit Fork from Things that annoy you. Your rants

Unfortunately I've said it before and I'll say it again, I doubt the powers that be will let us leave in any real form.

Serving lads - Best things about being in the corps

I heard he was tasered at the base gate in 29 Palms, I know at BA 12 several lads from 29 Cdo were tasered at the gate, held, then sent back to the UK. RSM Tomlinson and the CO at the time didnt mess about.

    New here, trained rank.

The simplest way to deal with DSS is provide a decent financial incentive, if the organisation got this right then you will always have individuals put their hand up for it. We used to have 2 AIB's when we were DSSed, I waited til I was promoted to take them and went up 2 pay scales. I was...

    Education experience in the RM

Part of aspiring to join an organisation is having realistic insight into what your joining, and how the members of the organisation conduct themselves. I completed a degree in the corp, and as stated in a previous post my hierarchy when I started my studies were completely supportive. However...

    Australian ex army

Curious as to why you want to join the corp when so many are attempting lateral transfer to join the australian forces for better pay and conditions?

    PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE

This is a minefield! But highly recommend, including a form of private health. Even in the event of an in service injury, any compensation funds are slow coming and will be below the payout level of a private policy. Also worth remember that surgery which is considered elective by the NHS will...

There are alot coming up thru the system, maybe if the corp is lucky we'll meet our O/R recruitment target! We should probably send the ANC a gift basket.

    42 Cdo in Gibraltar.

They do have their finger on the pulse. :D The medias attitude always seem to be dont let the truth get in the way of a good story. Even if its always 93.7896% BS. Easy solution is not to join or serve if you have serious moral objections.
