    Reminds me of a news story I saw about 'Hair discrimination'. Think it was by the telegraph but unsure.

    Well if females are allowed long hair in the military, then why aren’t men?

    I’ve been thinking about this, the original blue collar on the RN uniform was designed to stop tar getting on to and therefore ruining the number one dress, from tar applied to the sailors hair!!

    When did the hair regulations come in?

    I've heard rumours that the hair and facial hair policies might be relaxed.

    It's already changed in the RAF hasn't it? I swear I've seen RAF Reg lads cutting about with beards.
