    Hey everyone, I have my PRMC in a month and a bit. Just wanted to ask for any advice and tips with training leading up to the big week. I could certainly see improvement in my running so any specific methods to improve quickly would be brilliant.

    Current stats are:
    Max sit ups
    Max press ups
    6/7 pull ups
    11.0 bleep test
    9:55 1.5 mile return time

    My suggestion, and something I did for POC, was 4 days per week of running. 2 sessions were longer and steadier (9-12km), at around 5min/km, this is building aerobic capacity. 2 sessions were faster, i.e do 4 x 500-800m, as fast as possible and take a full recovery (2-4mins), you need the full recovery to actually train the speed.

    Then half the amount of work you do for the taper in the final week so that you are full rested.
