They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

R.i.p.

When they reach the gates of heaven, to St Peter they will tell,
One more soldier reporting Sir, I've served my time in hell........

R.I.P, 7 Years and only 100 casualties isn't bad considering american are in their thousands and they have the best equiptment. British Army is truly the best.

But isn't that 'cause they have more troops over there?

It's mainly because we take the time to train our troops. Give them proper training and only send them out when they're 100% ready fit physically and mentally. The US just send them out there ASAP.

I'd agree with that. But it also makes it a statistical certainty that the more troops you have on the ground, the more casualties you'll suffer

How long does it take to train a US Marine? 13 weeks? And they recruit just about anyone. Not meaning to be sexist at all but they recruit women.

Number of RMC's = approx: 4800

Number of USM's = approx: 200,000

So there are a hell of a lot more then them and they're not as well trained as our boys.

However, we can't really compare the USMC with RMC. They arn't meant to be the same thing. Our RM's are Commandos.

The US have Delta Force, Rangers and definitely do not forget the Navy Seals...tough sons of bitches.
