Here's an interesting one- a 42 year old clergyman aiming to become Commando trained.

There was a similar guy on my RT, 40'ish years old.

Fantastic bloke although he'd been in the Royal Navy for many years and was pretty good in the field.

He was in my bivvy on one exercise and told me how he was the Padre on the Ark Royal when 2 helicopters collided and went down in the 2nd Gulf War.

He was good to have on our course and although wasn't there for all the classes, he joined in with the CV work and did pretty well.
