ACL LIGAMENT(please help)

i recently had an operation to fix my acl ligament, im desparate to join the marines but im worried now that this will ruin my chances has anyone else had the same problem?? ive read previous posts but its not realy clear please help cheers

As far as I know ACL reconstruction is a bar to entry.

Not a definitive answer as your case may differ*

ACL reconstruction is a bar. Any other op depends on the level of surgery & can only be determined by the medical examiner once in possession of the full details.

The army will let you join if you have had a hamstring graft or bone patella bone graft. You need to be symptom free and I think it is a minimum of 18 months but I am not sure exactly. All applicants are sent to an Army surgeon for assessment.

It is a bar for the RNRM
