Advice on the push ups/pull ups

    Hello all,

    Would appreciate everyone’s advice on the best way to improve push ups and pull up reps. I’ve just started doing push ups with my weight vest doing 10 reps of 10 sets.

    Try doing 'Gainerz'. Alternatively, I've found that doing variations of the push ups and pull ups works a treat! i.e. diamond push ups, close grip pull ups etc. Work them all into like a mini circuit to increase muscular endurance

    Reps reps reps

    Press ups when waiting for the kettle to boil or during TV adverts etc.

    Get a doorframe pull up bar every time you walk through that doorway, do a max set

    Also work into circuits as well along with sit ups squats lunges and sprints

    Lucky I have a pull up mate frame but could do with it being taller as I have to pull my feet up rather then hang straight.
