Hey all. I've decided recently that I really want to join the marines and am now about to begin training before I apply for my PRMC. Searching the internet I found this programme that has been specifically designed for the PRMC and wondered if this is a good one to follow or if anyone here had any additions that would be useful.

Thanks for your help.

I used that and this one one as a basis for my training. Good guides *text deleted*.

Hi,

Looks like a good programme to start off on to me mate. Just something I'd recommend as you get closer to your PRMC date: Think about doing a tiring aerobic session before you do the circuit training in the morning - on the PRMC, as you probably know, you'll have to do the press ups etc straight after doing the bleep test (its a good idea to prepare along those lines in my opinion). Then do a different aerobic activity in the afternoon.

Other than that, the progression in that programme looks good. I'm not sure how other people approach their training, but I like to mix it up quite a bit; my training is often different from one week to the next. Keeps the body guessing :*text deleted*:
