age for officer?

2 questions can you join the 32 week training course when 16 and can you go to the 52 weeks training of officer when 16.(after passing 3 day test)?

you need to have so many a levels to be an officer.

but yeh you can join the normal ranks at 16..

i think you can join at 15 yrs 9 months or 7 months

Yes you can start Commando (Other Rank) Training at 16.

No you need to be a minimum of 17 to be an Officer.

To join as an Officer you need 5 GCSE's A-C (Including Maths & English) + 140 UCAS points at A2 Level before you may apply for POC & AIB.

To transfer to Officer you need 5 GCSE's A-C (Including Maths & English), pass POC & AIB & be over 17 years of age.
