Welcome Mate,

A lot of guys leave because of women and a lot find it doesn't last when they do leave. I guess if any women is putting that much pressure on you then it's not the right women, but you'll not be the last to make that mistake.

If you are looking to rejoin then all I can say is make sure you have all your leaving docs sorted at the begining, it just drags it out even more as I found out.

All the best

woman

I left Army basic for a woman.
After a few weeks I massively regretted it and longed to go back in but didn't because the last thing my troop sergeant had said to me was "give it 2 weeks Bradley and you'll be in that AFCO begging to come back". I hated him and didn't *text deleted* prove him right!!

I'm so glad I didn't *text deleted* I'd be in the Royal engineers now, building barracks in afghanistan watching the marines going off to battle and desperately longing to be a part of them.

I have a different GF now and if she makes the slightest hint that I shouldn't go in, or if she nags me during RT, shes out the door with a combat boot up her ar$e!

cheers mate , one bloke got glasses and was also issued with a seperate pair big blocky ones in trng, i suppose if you can see enough to do the assalt course without glasses then you dont wear them (he never did) but if you need to you *text deleted* do wat you *text deleted* do, but i could see it being a pain in the ass wearing them when you are hanging out *text deleted* ass and crawling,
