when you start running on the treadmill it takes a bit to get up to speed as you know,
would the staff let you get up to your required speed and start the timer or would they take a little time off at the end because you were not at top speed at the start of run.

i'm asking this because at my gym the treadmill I use takes about 20 seconds to get to the right speed and that 20 seconds could mean you pass or fail!

any replies would be class!!

From my cousins experience, the answer is no. The timer starts from when you start moving, so just make sure you give yourself enough time. I wouldn't worry about it mate, just 10 minutes of effort is nothing.

Hope it goes well.

When i took my PJFT the fitness instructor told me exactly what speed i would need to be going to get under 10 minutes. I duno if thats just me getting lucky by getting a decent instructor. Or is that normal?

I don't know, don't think that was the case with my cousin but i've got one in a week or so.

Taggart, where in Derby are you from and what school did you go to?

I'm in Oakwood myself.
