Thats a bit scary really isnt it! On the other hand, it was our forces who funded and trained the Taliban to expel the Soviets kind of ironic how they have turned against us.
Personally i do not believe we can outright win against them, only create an environment where the Afghan forces can control there country to a degree themselves.
I do not think that we should just up sticks and leave but i think things are only getting worst with our presence and with economical crisis in our own country looming how can we afford to stay in a fight we are losing?

i just hope that the government relises what can be realisticly done before to many soldiers have to become casualties
