    Hi guys
I have my parachute regiment assessment course on the 16th of October. My training was going great with all times improving.

Problem is I have come down with a chest infection and flu. I've had it for the last 3 days. This has put a dent in my training and probably will stop me training the rest of the week or more.

Will this affect my fitness much when I get over it. Should I postpone my prac or get on with it and knock out another 3 weeks hard training once the chest is clear.
P.s. any tips for getting over chest infections fast.

Having a week off will have minimal affects on your fitness if you've been working hard up to this point. Just stay hydrated and fuelled up as much as can during this period of illness. I'm not a doctor so I'm not going to give any medical advice but if it's serious then go get it checked over by the GP.

Thanks, no it's not serious it's just annoying. I think I might have run myself into the ground by over training.
