Bottom of my calf

I went for a run earlier for the first time in about a month so it was a careful one to ease me back into it. I got to about a mile and a half into the run when the bottom of my calf just got really tight and I had to stop just because i was worried of injury.

I tried to stretch it out doing an achillies stretch that hits roughly the same place but within 100m it was back again.

Anyone else ever had anything like that? or know of any stretches there are to get rid of it?

Don't be stretching it mate, as you might of pulled your muscle in which case you will be making it worse, i did exactly the same and thought "yeah lets stretch it out" as all the football players seem to do it, only to collapse in agony realising i'd torn it!

Rest it mate or if ya can afford it go and see a physio

*text deleted*, cheers for that. Good job i asked on here otherwise im pretty sure i wouldve done the same as you.

Might have to get to a physio sometime soon
