This appears to be driven by anarchist elements which have infiltrated and seized control of 'civil rights' movements.
The BBC doesn't help matters. On several occasions it has reported Police shooting incidents in the USA where an "unarmed" person has died. When the bodycam images were released a few days later clearly showing individuals attacking Police with firearms or knives before being shot the BBC doesn't update the news story.
The Police Tribune is a US-based news source which focuses on US law enforcement. I expected it to be partisan in its coverage but it appears to be even-handed and often critical of Police.

It was actually quite a good watch. I didn’t see any of the other episodes, but hopefully they also showed the police in such a positive light.
I know Ash, he’s a top bloke and a great ambassador for the police and the Corps. He wasn’t the only Royal that appeared on the show last night!
