Very much a matter for the court mate. Essentially the question is- on the balance of probabilities did the defendant intend or foresee the natural consequences of the actions of the criminal offence.

I do fear that the more people feel disenfranchised by the voting process, unable to make, or participate in making changes through the ballot box then I think this could become a bigger problem in the future.

I'm in no way condoning anything this chap has done. Trying to discuss it without sounding like I understand what went on in his crazy head. From what I have heard I'm starting to think he was doing some kind of fitness stimulants of some kind that has helped him go over the edge.

What I fear is that we have someone who had no peaceful way to express himself. Just looking at Brexit shows that your vote counts for nothing anymore in the UK (not sure about NZ). If the political class continue to marginalise people because they don't like their views. This will only grow. History shows that people don't stop until they think they have achieved change in one way or another.

In my opinion, I genuinely fear for what is coming down the road at us. I'm not sure who will be battling who (religion v religion, criminals v law abiding folk, politics v politics like late 20's Germany) but I get the sense things in this country are heading downhill fast. With them cutting Police numbers, I don't know if it is actually someones plan to go down this route. I don't see any other reason for the cuts. Bearing in mind Theresa May is about to give £39bn to the EU. That buys an extra 97,500 police officers each year for 10 years. Preaching to the converted there I guess.

Ironically the left didn’t see the viewing and sharing of a video of a young lad being sexually assaulted, scalped and beaten up for wearing a MAGA hat.

Twitter didn’t seem it appropriate to ban the Disney producer that drew a picture feeding kids wearing MAGA hats into a wood chipper.

It’s all about agenda. This fits theirs and is an excuse to attack independent news and internet services. Because they can’t influence them.

Why? The context would be that someone thought they would want to see it, for a variety of different reasons.

The person didn’t want to see it and thus never opened it.

Once the courts get involved, as with Count Dankulas case, the Courts will apply their context to it and manipulate the courts to charge said person.

Again. All relying on the manipulation of a left leaning court, a left leaning police force.

I have zero faith in the justice system or the police force.

Especially when the police are spending more time and money painting their cars rainbow colours and arresting people for Twitter statements.

    It’s beyond a joke.

I think you’ve misunderstood my reply mate. I was explaining the offence wording and the legal considerations when establishing intent.

Essentially this is all a question of context. For example purposes

    1) Here you go mate, check this video out- No offences disclosed, no requirement for a crime to be recorded.

    2) Here’s a video of your kind being taken care off, shame he missed some- Offence committed contray to Section 1 of Malicious Communications.

Same concept is applied to social media. For example a tweet that is grossly offensive, or of an indecent, obscene or of menacing character could be an offence under the Communications act.

It’s all a question of context mate.

Got to laugh at the Children running this country though. From next month they actually believe that they can ban porn in the UK without a pass but not terrorist content. Just to explain, they genuinely believe that they can ban porn which makes up 110% of the internet, but not terrorist stuff that makes up less than 1%.

At least they are doing their bit for comedy.

Friend told me about the porn ban, asking for him an all that.

VPN allows my wife to watch Corrie Street on catch up when we're abroad. :( Now that definitely needs to be classed as a criminal act!

A few years back I was in WH Smiths, Plymouth with a couple of youngsters from my tribe. I picked up newspapers and that month's edition of The Field which for those who don't know is a somewhat pompous magazine focusing on the posher end of field sports. The cover depicted a tweed-clad old guff carrying an expensive shotgun. The woman on the checkout asked me to confirm that I was not buying the magazine for either of the youngsters accompanying me as it was now the policy of WH Smiths to not sell firearms-related magazines to anyone aged under eighteen. :)

Edited to add: Clearly Mr Peterson's book just didn't sell as well as Mr Rushdie's book.
