"Amazing footage. A couple of guys who had bought a lion cub from Harrods (you could in the 60's) raised it until it was too big for them and so released it back into the wild. A year later they went back to Africa to try to see how it was doing. They were told that the lion now had his own pride and was completly wild. This is what happened next........."

I'm a bit sceptical about the whole thing...mainly because of the friendly female. It's a wild lion!! This is what they do:

Warning, tis a little gory.

Yeah, I'm a bit sceptical too. How would a young lion like Christian take control of a pride ? He'd have to beat a fully grown, completely wild male ... seems unlikely to me ???

As Sotiris says, I just can't see a wild female accepting people like that !

Rich.

jeremy are you serious man? yeah they're dangerous- they're predators. their ancestors hunted ours. but that doesn't mean kill them all. it means treat them as predators, not big circus attractions

That second vids sick the lion never asked to be locked in a cage they should be in the wild and they could of at least used tranquillisers
Hehe I don't think the guy in the lion jaws would have wanted to wait for it to go to sleep.
