    Dear Marines,

Im applying to join the Marine Band however I’m worried I’ll get disqualified medically for contact dermatitis. (I looked at my records and the last entry was 2016 therefore I should be fine as it’s three years that I haven’t been to see a GP) and the times I have were rare occasions often working with weird chemicals or having my hands in dishes for hours when working as a Dishwasher.

    Anyone got any advice?

Have times changed recently, I know the Army recently changed some of their rules on eczema, it was written in the guardian.

    anyone had any recent news!

    Thanks

@RichyRich1993 Google JSP950 - then go down to section 4 - annex I (all listed in the blue writing) and you need to read para 3 downwards for yourself..as these are the rules.!!

    Thanks very useful!

looks like I’ll have to see a physician once I’ve done the medical.

looks like the band could be slipping away :(
