just a very basic question guys.

when i do my cycling on the stationery bike at the gym am i best to try and cycle on a high level (bike in the gym goes to about level 20) for as long as possible or would it be more beneficial to my cv if i cycled on a lower level but cycled really fast

thanks

Best thing to do is alternate it, one day do level 20 next do level 10.

Your body will respond to the changes and this will be of high benefit to you.

do interval training on there mate, instant winner.
Yup, I'll second that,

What I do, or atleast did was 30 second cycles(30 second relaxed then 30 second sprints) for 30 mins.

Otherwise I put my bike onto a decent resistance and cycle for 35 minutes with a minute of sprint every 5 minutes or so, and do more everytime you do it.

So i'd mix it up between high and low intensity and do a straight HIIT sess everywhile.

GL.
