i live in netherfield, which is near colwick, burton joyce,carlton, gedling, etc.

I haven't started any part of my the application process yet, as i'm awaiting laser eye surgery, and then post surgery i have to wait a year before i can even apply.

resulting in a hell of a lot of training time.

You checked if you can join with laser surgery? I know it can affect your night vision. So check asap.
