Define damage? Eating before bed is something you should be doing as its when your body repairs itself so it needs fuel to do so, a high protein low carb combination is what your after if your worried about your figure otherwise a healthy snack/meal before bed will do you fine.

Personally i wake up half way through the night with the need for food even after eating before bed

I eat so much lads, I really wouldn't worry as long as its good food get it down you.

I'm probably on 6 meals a day, I just eat what I want when I want. But i keep away from crap..... haven't had a KFC in years

Aye i'd agree. If you're working out and training 5 times a week or so, eating a lot shouldnt be a problem (as long as it's, as Stacka said, the good stuff).

Nope pepperoni is out if you looking to keep fat off. Go for chicken/turkey something
