hi

was thinking about buying one the gerber recon torches i have a torch *text deleted* but its a bit cr*p is a maglite but bad connection,

would you reccomend getting one of these?

THIS is the best torch I've ever had.. Dropped it in the river Tryweryn in Wales, fished it out 50 meters and all my energy later and turned it on and it still blinded the whole group in daylight. It's very light, bright and durable, dropped it on rocks and even sat on it when I put it in my back pocket. Didn't break, crack but it did scratch slightly on the plastic.

Absolutely excellent bit of kit and I've never spent £25 any better in my life (except for alcohol)
