A good example of why it's probably a good idea to listen to safety briefs.

Definitely an eye opener as to why the safety briefs are so important. It’s similar to everything in the corps - you need to dry drill the skill in order to have it in your muscle memory so when the moment comes you barely have to think about it and the action just does itself.

Whether it be changing a magazine or swapping to your pistol people definately don’t dry practise certain skills enough and can sometimes fall foul when it’s called upon!

Eye opener to how ignorant and retarded people are.

Every flight I take I at least give the airline staff the courtesy of listening and paying attention, notnjust for the brief but because they are taking the time to tell you.

People are just idiots.

Eye opener to how ignorant and retarded people are.

So very true. People think it will never happen to them. And then it does.

There's a hierarchy of denial which afflicts humans in crisis conditions:

1. It will never happen to me.
2. This isn't happening to me.
3. That didn't happen to me.
