Songs

Guys, you may well sing your own songs during runs in basic training. We certainly did. Although being honest they were the yankee versions. We were most of the way through training, on adventure training at Penhale (Cornwall) when our training team granted this request.

Being honest, we all felt absolutely great at the time.

Definately a very worthwhile exercise.

Who knows, one of you ,may write your own and get the troop to sing it!

A) the US have only won one or two wars by themselves,
while we had a goddam empire
B) the US "won" back their country because we were too busy with our more financially viable/prosperous colonies
C) BLUE ON BLUE!!! for example.... A-10 pilots aiming for brit troops....
D) The United states abstaining from the league of nations, (despite being the nation which pushed the most AND came up with the goddamn concept), gave the Axis powers the knowledge that if the LoN held embargoes over them, they could turn to America for Munitions/supplies.
E) There is some evidence to suggest that the spams DID support Nazi Germany at the beginning of the war.
F) Britain has a land mass/population of ONE American state yet for CENTURIES GB held an empire/monopolys/enormous richs.
G) If it wasnt for New Labour, we would STILL be stronger than the US.
H) Dollar < Pound

*text deleted* penhale brings back some exhausting memories running around the main circle of road over and over getting beasted the up hill was so hard and when it rained hard it turned into a fast flowing river *text deleted* did have some good times there though i remember one of my *text deleted* getting stung by a wasp when we was out doing exsersize all around the sand dunes we was tracking another squad of guys, tracking there patrol movements were on the side of one of the massive dunes was a big hole and inside a wasp honey cone nest aw we was all laughing so loud then about 15 people cam over the hill and moued us down with blanks!
