do they royal marines help you with your driving test like the army do or as it something whats got to be done down civvy street?

It depends if what you have chose to specialise in requires you to drive.

Yeh that's true, it does depend... my friend is in Comms and they got him to take his car test all the way up to HGV.

I can drive but have not got my licence...pointless really my insurence here would outweigh the value of the car I could get.....and I don't mean some clapped out broken down rusted up *text deleted**text deleted*box.

I've got my full U.S drivers license from when I lived over there.
I'm contemplating on whether or not to take my test before I join.
