Example of the interview questions ?

Hey!

Sorry if this has been posted/answered elsewhere but I’ve just joined & I’m not too familiar with everything yet.

Anyways, I have my selection interview soon, and I was just curious of what type of questions they’d answer? & mainly, what type of ‘Service Knowledge’ questions will be asked?
Would it be more towards the job I.e Pay, what you do as a marine (in my case), contracts etc.. or would it be more towards history of the RM, key events/dates, when founded etc..

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It also depends on the interviewer, one may prefer to ask more about the job itself as if a normal job interview, another may throw in more corps knowledge questions.
You should of got an email or correspondence detailing what they suggest you know

In the email I got, they just said ‘Service Knowledge’ as the area referencing to the actual job. The rest was about my hobbies, education etc..

I know a lot of stuff about the job, pay, contracts , length of service etc.. already.

Would you say for me to just try & learn everything I can within the 2 weeks I have prior to the interview, since it will be beneficial anyway for any tests on Knowledge I’ll have to take in the PRMC & RT (assuming I get that far like I hope to!)

I'd prioritise employment information, and current information on the RM - units, locations, specialisations, current deployments/exercises, phases of training, commando qualities, the commando phase of training - that kind of thing.

Along with important corps history.
