Eye test

Hello everyone, its been a dream of mine for a while to join the Royal Marines, however my eyesight is terrible so i never applied as i thought this would bar me from joining, but i have found out there are people in who wear glasses/contacts and read somewhere that the minumum standards have to be -6.75. But i have no idea what my prescription is, if anyone has passed the eye tests who has bad eye sight do you know how far down on the eye chart you have to read? My left eye would get to the 3rd of 4th line but i don't think my right would even be able to read the big letter at the top. With glasses or contacts i have 20/20 vision.

The best bet is to take a copy of the standard and get an optician to check whether to meet the corrected and uncorrected standard for entry.
