hi guys imgoing to start doing fartlek can anyone give me advice ? do u do sprint 30 secs jog 1 min throughout the whole run or just a few times ? cheers
run for 10 mins, do the fartlek 10 reps, then carry on 10 mins, pretty much how i do it i think, but i use distance. i probably did fartlek for just over a mile out of the 3. do some hill sprints to man, good very good for CV
yea fartlek is just a variation from sweden i think, the only reason its meant to be better is because you arnt resting in between the sprints, and you can do it on a normal running route instead. its meant to be a combination of interval training and normal route running.
