Hi all

Would be grateful for some feedback on the new site design. There are some things still to do and some old features that need to be reinstalled, but I'm wary of leaving the site offline longer than it needed to be. The basics should now be back.

Any feedback, good, and especially the bad will be welcomed.

Jobs List

1) Smilies
2) Odd looking text on mobile Done unless new feedback comes in
3) Links top bar
4) Font size
5) Commando Dagger sizing on mobile @03092014

We seem to be missing the Hoofing, Gen Dit etc emoji. I see we have the heart that some parents were asking for!

Edit. I’ve just seen your last post about the ratings!

Clean and crisp colour scheme which is a nice homage to the original site. Easy and smooth navigation thus far.

Hi,

I really like the new design. Although, there does seem to be a problem. I use the forum through my phone most of the time, and with the new design it squashes all the titles to the left on the forums page.

I’ve attached a couple of image to show you what I mean.

Thanks.

Hopefully @GreyWing can sort this out backstage. I also use the forum on my iphone and this doesn’t happen. Perhaps it is something to do with your phone settings?

I use Apple and get the same squashed view as @Peppers When I am on my phone.
But I am liking the modern sleek look!

Langa please?

Same issue RE content display but looks great otherwise.

For anyone struggling with the elongated thread names, if you head to preferences and select 'vB 3.x' under style it should display properly, albeit with a slightly different colour theme.

Viewed on a desktop the forum displays correctly for me but I reduced its size a notch ('cmd' + '-' on my device) and it looks much better without appearing too small.

Obviously this is a personal preference but as alluded to by @Langa please? it might be worthwhile tinkering with device settings to 'enhance the experience'. Whatever that means.

Very good look I like it.

This is the look I’m getting on iPhone so no issues there.

I like the new design but is there a way we can get bigger Commando Dagger and Globe and Laurel in the areas I circled below? At the moment it's tiny and you can hardly see it.
