Just a quick question.

I have a CCJ on my credit file, how will this effect my application to join the Royal Marines?

The CCJ was for £1100, unpaid tuition fees (i lost due to not preparing a good enough case) even though i had only studied for 3 months and not the full year, which would of been made apparent in my attendence record which they refused to disclose, so an unjust CCJ in every right.

But still, will my financial history impede.

Cheers

Hiya James,

I'm afraid you will need to resolve your CCJ & get a "letter of satisfaction" from your creditor (to indicate you are paying back the debt to their satisfaction) if you have an unresolved CCJ.

Generally speaking you cannot proceed with an application until you have resolved the CCJ as Security Clearance cannot be granted.

Great, thanks for the reply. It is marked as 'satisfied' on my credit file (all paid) so hopefully no worrys then.
