    Hi all

Finished my first run earlier on. 3 miles in 26 minutes!

Seems the chest infection has taken a good 6 minutes off my runtime.

How long should it take to get my time back down?

    Best wishes:

It shouldn't take long for your body to re-adapt itself to how you were running before. You're body will remember how fast you ran it before and I'd say 3 weeks maximum with hard graft you should be back to where you are. I've gone 6 weeks without doing phys and within a couple of sessions I'm back at the times I was running before. My body adapts very quickly which is quite lucky but everyone will be different. Ease yourself back into it though as you don't want the shock of phys setting off the infection again.

    Thank you, mate

I’m easing back into training slowly and surely. Focusing a bit more on weights whilst building my cardio back to where it was.

This was where I went wrong before. The infection had cleared up; but I went back training hard and it came back 10 times worse which, consequently, want I had it for 12 weeks and had to go to the doctor for antibiotics for it
