I'm going out on Sunday to try and do my first six miler. I've done 3-4 miles before no problems. The route I've picked is out in the country, lots of different gradients and a quiet road. It also has the advantage that the half-way mark is at a mate's house (If I'm knackered, I can get a lift home). Any advice on pacing etc? What's a goodish time to be aiming for?
