fitness help

hi lads, just wondered if any of you could give me some advice on this :

when do i need to be looking to contact my afco in terms of fitness. i play football 3 times a week n go to the gym 3-4 times as well but dont do a great deal of running there . now would it be better to contact them now and then start doing a lot more running etc or wait till iam a lot more fitter before contacting. i suppose what i am asking is have i got enough time to improve my running fromo when i contact my afco to doing my prmc.

if you're looking at going through the application process in the next 12 months then i'd recommend increasing the amount of running you do in your training. i asked my brother (who went through RT) what advice he could give me regarding training and he simply replied, "run and don't stop".
