Hi guys last week I did intervals which was 400m sprint followed by a minute break and I did it ten times. However, this morning I did the exact same thing but at the beginning of the run my legs instantly filled with lactic acid and so slowed me done massively, does anyone know what may of causes this?

Sounds obvious, but did you properly warm up, cool down and stretch properly afterwards? If No, I would suggest that is causing the issue. Also
Sprints will generally knacker your legs faster than most exercises, if your new to them it could be a case of doing less reps etc and building slowly
