Well, he must really want it for more than a stunt man career.

Im surprised the Royal Marines would let him stay that long in Hunter, instead of taking him aside and telling him does he really want to do this. Determination is one thing but staying in a rutt is another.

Regardless of the individuals' personal traits there are several things to consider about training.

There is a huge psychological effect when someone is effectively back-trooped into Hunter. Everyone assumes they will pass-out 32 weeks after they start and a large percentage don't for a huge variety of reasons.

Many Recruits who spend a long time in Hunter Company become demoralised & disenchanted as they see those that joined after them passing out before them, or the injury seemingly taking forever to recover.

The way to look at it is that it takes a great deal of fortitude to remain focussed & for as long as you stay in the Corps, you are getting paid to recover & then carry on (hopefully) to complete Commando training with the next available troop that reaches your previous level of training. Many people submit notice to leave & the problem then, if they recover sufficiently to re-join, is they have to start all over again from the very begining.

I have see the guy and talk to people who know him and all im going to say is the cameras dont capture everything and things are edited for public entertainments. It is of my understanding that chris terril was at my familys day for some promotion perposes and collins cought up with him and they had a little hangbags on lypstones dear bottom field
