Is summer definitely 12 August - 5 September?

Would like to make some holiday plans!

My son is in 127 troop and his summer leave dates are Fri 13 Aug to Sun 4 Sept. I am assuming the leave is the same for all the troops in RT but Ninja could probably confirm.
