Glute Medius Tendinopathy

    Went to see a physio today about hip pain when I am running. Turns out I have Glute Medius Tendinopathy. According to her, it's very common in runners and thus I assume it might be a common injury in CTC?

    Anyhow, I thought people might want the recovery workout that she has given me in order to heal this and prevent it in the future.

    Hip abductions 3 x 20
    Clam-shells 3 x 20
    Single leg glute bridge 3 x 20
    Single leg box squat 3 x 10

    Do this once a day and incorporate a resistance band if it becomes too easy.

    She mentioned I could start doing cardio on a bike, does anyone have any good bike workouts?

    Also, should I tell my AFCO about this, I am currently TMU after my triage call because I broke a bone 14 months ago. I'm cautious of delaying the process even further by telling them I can't run at the moment.
