good press ups technique

alright chaps, here is a good press up technique that an ex para told me yesterday, just tried it and it really works well. made me do 10 more than i can normal do!

do 10 press ups
3 second break

do 9 press ups
3 second break

do 8 press ups
3 second break

do 7 press ups
3 second break

do 6 press ups
3 second break

do 5 press ups
3 second break

you get the picture... do this all the way down to 1 and you have your self 55 press ups :)

if you want to do more then you can start at for example 11. well worth a try. let me know if you get down to 1 :)

he suggested just doing this every morning, but i was thinking you could merge it with that Russian one where you do them every hour or something.

Yea i got that off a website, but your one sounds harder because you have a few second break, and the one i been doing is a 1-2 minute break between a set. Im on week 5 now but the first set starts with 40 then 31 etc.

Yeah i did them today got down to one:) Awhile ago i was having trouble with them after concentrating on them i have improved alot:) Best to do it with a friend we call them 9, 8, 7s .... you do ten your mate does ten ... down to one its good for competition makes you push yourself

i do a similar thing for the past month ive done 40,30,20,10, =100
when i started it i found it quite hard but now its easy, staring november im doing, 50,40,30,20,10 =150
then every month go to 60 then 70 and so on,
come january ill be a machine, start at 30 or 20 and work your way through
because of this my pb press ups is 66 and can only get better,

sorry , once a day, any other sets of 20 or 30 when you feel like it,(every little helps,
