The has come to introduce myself - I've been browsing through these threads for a few days now and have found it very interesting and helpful. I am (almost) 16 and I'm planning to start in the marines after my A levels. Should I be training hard in preparation yet? Because I haven't really got a routine set up at the moment.

I wouldnt say start training hard.Just get used to do something active everyday so it wont be such a culture shock to you in a couple of years time :wink:
Just doing a bit of running,press ups situps regulary wont be too much trouble and wont affect your study time too much either

Closer the time,yes start looking at really building your fitness but at the moment i wouldnt be worrying about it too much.
