help with some corps knoweldge?

Hi, guys I know there are loads of these threads up but some don't have the answers I need and I cant some off the web either. so any help would be much appreciated.

these are the questions I was given by the AFCO that I'm not 100% on.


1. "how many Royal Marine Commando units are there"

Is it 3 units, 40, 42 and 45 commando?


2. "what colours do FPGRM hold and why? what is the significance?"

i think its the old 43 commando's colours, but not sure and the significance


3. "Name the 5 SQ's (Branches) available to recruits when they pass out?"


4. "Name the 2 SQ's avaliable as a Corporal?"

And I don't have a clue about the last two.

yeah theres 40,42 n 45 n dunno bout FPGRM..but 5 Sqs..Driver,Chef,Assault Engineer,Heavy weapons,Clerk

and 2 as a corporal- PTI and Mountain leader

I wasn't.

To be honest though, you hardly need to revise anything because all the questions you'd be asked are obvious and found on websites like this.

(marine motto, cap badge, units) etc.

I've took the time to learn some history of both the Marines and the Navy though, as I know i'll be a lifer.
