you wouldn't even have to spike it, I've always got laxatives and viagra on me just incase I meet the girl of my dreams.

Due to the lathargic nature of my dial up connection I was denied the pleasure of gazing upon your visage...alas.

In addition, this post has no relevance or significance what so ever, and I am posting purely due to the fact that boredom consumes me like napalm on an angry Talibany.

How's the toe Seedy? How's the knee Matt? You wearing the orthotics yet?

Yes mate, been wearing them since last Thursday and I did my first 1.5 mile run yesterday, 10.51, oh dear oh dear. The knee didn't hurt at all during the run which was obviously fantastic but then about 4 hours afterwards after walking around all day it started to come on again.

I'm really worried that this isn't going to be a solvable problem, and that I've spent £387 for nothing!

Chill man. If that was your first run and it didn't hurt during it, think how it'll be after a few weeks. This process takes time.

Frankly I'm very suprised you ran in them so soon. I tried running in them after 2 weeks and my whole body cained for the next 2 days...then again the heels on mine are 1.5 inches, quite a drastic change.

Don't get disheartened, it's fixed me. Just give it time.

It was only a light jog for 1.5 miles. Im already pretty used to them, my heel is about and inch but it rises up in the middle about 1.5 inches to correct my flat feet.

So do you think its just best to keep walking in them for another week and not run?

From what my podiatrist said I would advise it. He said leave it for at least 3 weeks before you start training properly.

Aye indeed, got em last friday haha

Oddly enough, I noticed improvement right off... I pronate, but not I cant see my knee's twisting in a bit when I walk, already a good sign.

Physio said to me "you don't believe the amount of people I get here that are going for the military, ask people in training, I'd say about 60% of them have some form of orthotics".
Im *text deleted* listen to him haha, he has people coming to see him from around the country so he must know his stuff

Yea I know!

It's exactly what my podiatrist told me. He's treated dozens of servicemen includin Marines. It's really quite amusing.

I do, but it's only bedroom mixing now, house parties, and a small pub down the road called 'The Barley Mo', they love it!!

I was signed to a local record label called 'Random Audio Records', but I left them when I had to start putting in all my efforts into training for the marines so have deleted all mention of them on Myspace, I think, I'm not sure, as I've said, I havn't used Myspace for so long, Maybe a year.

It may only have involved playing once or twice a week, but it also involed a lot of practicing my sets for a good performance, and constant meetings and showing my face.

I will miss my Dex and being able to take out any emotion on a hour long mix or so.

I won't miss having to spend so much on vinyl in order to keep my sets fresh and non repetative!
