I think i'm injured :(

I was lifting weights at the gym with my mate, they were kinda heavy for me but i didnt want to seem a pu$$y. So i did quite alot and now my muscle hurts on my arm... I can't move my arms much without feeling pain, anyone know how long it'll take to heal? :doh::dontaskme:

When you weight lift you basically break muscle fibres which then reform, and so will usually feel a few achs the morning after a partivularly hard session. You prob have gone a little too far with the weights yesterday and now feeling the result! I would leave it a good few days and when you go back to that muscle group again stick to low weight high reps for a session.

Eat some foods rich in protein as it should help the muscle to recover.

Do what sam said, also have a cold bath and eat a casein protein right before bed, i bet you will be fine in morning mate
