Ok I can do 3 miles in 21.43 which I don't reckon is good. Good for the average civvy, but compare that to someone who want's to be combat fit I'd class that as pure shyte!

Today I tried a 3 miler and couldn't even complete it, don't know why. Maybe lack of motivation, maybe fatigue.. maybe it's just in my head but at the same time I was finding it physically tough, more so than mentally.

So a way to get fit is maybe to join a fitness class. A fitness class which is run by people who have served in the war. People who are combat fit. Sometimes running on your own is too boring, lack of motivation kicks in and you'll need a kick up the arse.

Seeing that I can't do RMR training, I think I'll maybe sign up to this for 2 months and if I see no real progress over the two months then I'll quit it.

Listen to the way he slates gyms

Is kind of pricey but it's probably a lot of fun aswell. I think it'll definitley be a good way of getting fitter, when theres someone urging you on!

I don't know but I can't sign up to the RMR because I'm already applying for the regulars, also I can't take part in any of the activities that the RMR do here in London because it's only once a month, first Wed of every month which sucks.

British Military Fit has people who are current and former Para-Troopers, Marines.. etc.. so if I tell them that in 5 weeks time I want to pass my PRMC they should know how to push me to that limit.

Sometimes going for morning runs and doing circuits won't get you to that next level simply because there is no one there urging you to do more and to push yourself.

I'm going to give it a go though, I want to pass that PRMC so badly!

ok lets spark up ok ok ok ok ok ok...

That guy says ok too many times!

They should get some really scary corporals that really do thrash their recruits, as in beat the *text deleted**text deleted* out of them to make then dig blind when the going gets tough, not this 'okokokokokokokokok' guy. *text deleted*.

You could run and set the half way mark furthest from your house, therfore once you are halfway you have no choice but to run back.

Hah,cut the guy some slack. I know quite a few guys in the forces, and *text deleted* their version of 'Motivational Speaking' isnt the best. They generally fall back on being able to just give it some balls, quick, loud talking/shouting gennerally gets people motivated.

'Ok Ok Ok' got on my nerves a bit,but he seemed sound.

If you want motivation, then i think British Military Fitness, running clubs, spinning class's, training partners etc are the way to go. Anything where your in a group,or with someone else is better than being on your own. That way you have someone to help A) take your mind off it B) to try and beat!
