Like probably many of us serving in uniform or ex, I just attended my local church today. They have no uniform cadet organisations or service personnel who attend, besides a policeman & fireman who turn up in uniform. I think nowadays there are three times as many people working for McDonalds UK than in the RN & RM combined.

One thing that did impress me today was the Danny Boyle inspired beach etchings of inspirational WW1 figures around UK. Superb.
