Okay so in February 2016 I started RT aged 22 and I got medically discharged after 4 weeks for a shoulder problem.....2 years later after a lot of delays, paperwork and a hell of a lot of chasing things up I was finally meant to start training again this Monday the 29th after passing prmc last month....until last week I dislocated my shoulder for the first time and have been given 12 months to recover-vomit- and the last 3 months of the 12 will be a fitness diary which is understandable, as all my docs will be out of date I’ll have to start the application process from scratch, which will roughly take a further 6 months, so in total I’m looking at 18 months wait, I’m struggling to find any positives apart from when I recover and build my shoulder up my fitness will be through the roof as I can still run, squat and build leg strength while shoulder recovers! If anyone has been in the same boat as me or knows anyone who’s been shiiit out of luck and then passed I’d like to speak to them :D, so started this process getting into training at 22 and I’ll be 26 by the time I hopefully start again! 3rd time lucky and 3 prmc’s behind my belt by that time -banghead-

Aged 22 at 2012? Won't you be 28 now then instead of 26?

Ive personally know 4 blokes whove been in depot for 2 years or slightly under. One poor bloke has been in Browning (p company fitness awaiting a platoon) almost 2 year poor lad passed a few events but got injured at p company again. Hes still keen doesnt want to transfer

Yeah that does sound pretty gutting! It was just hard to come to term with starting a week out, then having to go through the application from scratch and do another prmc without even getting down to CTC, but only positives is by then I suppose I’ll be more mature and fitter.

My arm was on a surf board then a wave hit, took the board behind my head with my arm.

What was the first shoulder problem you got discharged for if you don't mind me asking mate?

    Cheers
