Hey guys,

I've got my interview on Monday. I've done as much revision as I can and will be spending all day on Sunday getting ready for it.

I was just wondering if anyone has any last minute tips for me.

Thanks!

Arrive a good 10-15 mins early.

If you are going to be late, ring your AFCO before you are (afterwards they kind of suss it)

Dress smartly- first impressions count.

Make sure you take all documentation requested (Record of Achievement, certificates, referees detail if you haven't already provided them, 4X passport photos, passport, birth certificate, driving licence, NI Card, NHS Number card, etc).

Be yourself, be 100% truthful, try to relax, but avoid leaning on or putting your feet up on the interviewers' desk!

If you don't know, say "I don't know, but I'll find out". Do find it out. Don't waffle.

Good luck- you'll wonder what you were worried about afterwards!

A tip I was given for interviews was to always look the interviewer in the eye, don't start looking all round the room or stair at the floor.

Does anybody know which commando units are currently in Afghanistan and who have recently returned? I've got a copy of Globe and Laurel here but I can't seem to make out who's there at the moment.

Thanks.
