Your eyes are glazed, speech is slurred and you smell of intoxicating liquor.

    Time for bed Jack!

Join the otc in university. You arent commited to go the Army or sign on. You will go sandhurst at times. Its not RM but its a massive Officer vacinity to give you a feel. Plus its paid and I would imagine better than a civi qual from ex forces. Because I doubt the miltiary would look at it and see it was run by ex military or if you did field craft to RM standard.

I will 100% challenge that statement.

Wise words by @Johnny_Anonie You may care to start by looking and correcting the title of this thread. One thing to bear in mind is that if you are intending to become an officer, then a lot of the guys in your command will be better educated than you. That is definitely the case in the RM and I guess the Army as well.

You have a lot of hoops to jump through before getting to the start line and a civvy course, however good you may claim it is, will not cut it.

My advice is to go back to square one. Re-assess where you are and where you wish to go to.

    Good luck

    Alan

Hi @Johnyyboi, did you complete your ILM qualification through JL?

Hats off to you. I know how tough that course is. You definitely learnt some good skills through completing JL, however few will really know what you accomplished except those who did it at the time. However, now it is time to move on, focus on what you want and do what is necessary to get there. JL was a taster, this is the real thing!
    Good luck!;)
