Introduction - Overseas

Hey people, I'm a 24 year old overseas applicant, a British Citizen living in a commonwealth country, Malta to be precise. I've sent out my application for the Royal Marines Commandos and I'm working on fitness and Corps history like no other. I have been a guest on this forum for a couple of weeks now, I finally registered because there is a lot of good info here and it doesn't hurt to get chatting with members of the community.

I hope to be at Lympstone within the next year or so because this office job is killing me!

If you want to be in within the next year, check the other threads regarding commonwealth applications so you can get your paperwork sorted ahead of time. That’s why mine was delayed by a few months.

Yeah I've been scouring the forums for any bonus info I can get my hands on, I plan to speak to my GP and attain all my medical records since being in Malta since that seems to be the common denominator when it comes to delays in applications.

Any and all other tips are welcome of course.
