Hi all, I'm 22 and after quite a few years of wanting to join the Royal Marines and being stuck in crappy retail Jobs i have finally decided to take the plung and follow my gut.

I'm currently on week 4 of the Royal Navy fitness training programme and ahead of schedule in regards to running times. (still nothing impresssive, with a pace of 8:37/mi). I have contacted a recruiter to register interest but thats as far as I am at the minute, at the beggining of my journey!

Thanks for taking the time to read this post.

Welcome to the site. You need to be doing the Royal Marines Fitness Training Programme ideally, it's significantly different to the Royal Navy one and is a twelve week programme: https://www.royalmarines.uk/threads/12-week-pre-prmc-poc-training-programme-male-females.100784/
