Hello , I’m 16 and training myself for the marines . Currently doing A-levels to pass time while I get my fitness and also weight up (54.5kg / 6ft ) at the moment. Plan on applying in a years time

As you go through the process, consider making your parents aware of this forum. They'll have questions as well and may get info through here.

On the weight gain side of things, my nod was inhaling steak. We spent 2 weeks in florida and he put on 5kgs. I also fed him banana bread and that helped - Commando Chef recipe of course.
